Corrections and clarifications

The University of Houston System building in Sugar Land is the University of Houston System at Sugar Land. A story on Page B7 on Sunday, Nov. 7, contained incorrect information.

Lupita Martinez is first vice president of the Catholic War Veterans Post 1269, Selina Driscoll is the the ritual officer and the Rev. Stan DeBoe is the chaplain. They were misidentified in a photo caption on Page E5 on Friday, Nov. 5.

Walmart only accepts used tires if someone comes in to purchase a new tire from Walmart and needs to get rid of the old one in the process, for which they charge $1.50 per tire. Otherwise, Walmart does not accept used tires. A column on Page E3 on Friday, Nov. 5, did not give a clear description of Walmart's tire recycling program.
