Victoria police are investigating a robbery in which an undisclosed amount of money was taken from an employee outside the Amco insurance agency.
Sgt. Adam Nieto said the robbery occurred just before noon Saturday in the 3100 block of North Navarro Street. He said no one was injured and the robber escaped before police arrived.
Nieto said the 25-year-old employee was taking money to be deposited when she was approached by a man with a handgun.
The suspect was described as 5 feet 5 inches to 5 feet 7 inches tall and had a small build. Nieto said police believe the suspect left on foot, going north.
