Freezing temperatures likely for Crossroads

A strong cold front will arrive in the Crossroads Thanksgiving night and bring freezing temperatures by Saturday morning, according to the National Weather Service.
The front will move through the Victoria and Laredo areas about 8 p.m. Thursday and reach the coast and Corpus Christi area about 11 p.m.
A thin line of showers will be possible along and just behind the front.
Morning lows Friday will range from the upper 30s inland to mid-40s along the coast. Strong and gusty north winds will produce wind chills in the low to mid-30s across the region Friday morning.
Highs Friday will climb into the mid-50s across the Coastal Bend to low 60s across the Rio Grande Plains.
The first widespread freeze of the season will occur late Friday night into Saturday morning.
Lows Saturday morning will range from 28 to 32 degrees along and west of a Kingsville to Robstown to Refugio to Port Lavaca line.
