First seasonal freeze expected this weekend

Coats and gloves might be in the forecast as colder weather sweeps through Victoria this weekend.
The season's first widespread freeze will take place late Friday though Saturday morning, according to the National Weather Service in Corpus Christi.
Friday carries a high temperature near 54. Skies will be mostly cloudy, gradually becoming sunny.
North-northwest winds will blow 19 to 22 mph, decreasing to between 8 and 11 mph. Winds could gust as high as 26 mph.
Clear skies will usher in a low temperature about 28 Friday night. North-northwest winds will blow between 3 and 6 mph.
Saturday will be sunny, with a high temperature near 62 and a low temperature around 39. North winds will blow at about 6 mph, becoming east.
