Thumbs-down to Congressman John Boehner for saying the following: "I believe that the health care bill that was enacted by the current Congress will kill jobs in America, ruin the best health care system in the world, and bankrupt our country..." (actual quote found on the Internet here:

If he is to make claims that our health care system as it was is the best in the world, he should be required by law to disclose where he got that information and on whose standards it is based.

If the advertising industry is required to provide truth in advertising, then politicians who make statements like the one Congressman Boehner made must also provide truth in their promotion of their party's position, which is a form of advertising.

As Joe Main Street, I want to be able to objectively evaluate and see if I believe the statement he made based on the source of his information.
