Woodhouse Day Spa's Polish Me Pink program offers customers a chance to glam up and give back.

Throughout October, Woodhouse will donate a portion of certain manicure and pedicure sales to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation to benefit breast cancer awareness, research and education.

To qualify, a manicure or pedicure must be done in one of three shades of pink - "Living in Pink," "Laughing in Pink" or "Loving in Pink."

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

A special Polish Me Pink event takes place Thursday to educate people on the benefits spa therapies can offer breast cancer victims.

The day includes an on-site Susan G. Komen representative who will discuss breast cancer awareness. Spa-goers also receive various services, such as mini makeovers, neck and shoulder massages, reflexology and more.
