Construction workers on Tuesday poured the foundation for a new $691,000 credit union at the corner of John Stockbauer Drive and Ben Jordan Street.
The 4,305-square-foot Cal-Com Federal Credit Union could open in March or April, said Connie Hermes, the credit union's executive vice president.
"We're hoping in six months or less, depending on the weather," Hermes said.
The credit union already has a Navarro Street branch, which will remain open.
The new location will boast 10 employees; as many as seven will be new positions, Hermes said.
