CUERO - The Cuero Police Department and DeWitt County Crime Stoppers are still searching for James Orlanda Griffin, who is a suspect in the death of a 45-year-old Cuero woman.
Warrants have been issued for the 42-year-old, charging him with murder in the stabbing death of his former wife, Rechard Sammons Griffin, who was found dead in her home Monday. He is also charged with unauthorized use of her vehicle, according to a police department news release.
The two divorced first in August 2006, then remarried and divorced again in August of this year, a clerk in the DeWitt district clerk's office said.
Griffin is a black man with black hair and brown eyes. He is 6-feet 1-inch tall and weighs about 165 pounds.
His most notable feature is three teardrop tattoos on his left cheek.
Griffin could possibly be driving a 2009 Hyundai Santa Fe with the license plate BX6G617.
