Heavy rain from Tropical Storm Hermine is forecast to cause flooding on the Guadalupe River and Coleto Creek in Victoria County.

A flood warning was issued by the National Weather Service for the Guadalupe near Bloomington. The river is forecast to rise to 22.7 feet by Wednesday morning, or 2.7 feet above the flood stage.

A flood warning has also been issued for Coleto Creek at Arnold Road through Wednesday evening. The creek is predicted to rise to 16.5 feet Tuesday evening, which is 1.5 feet above flood stage.

A flash-flood watch remains in effect until 7 p.m. Tuesday for parts of the Crossroads as Hermine continues to track north, causing more rain.

Additional rainfall of 2 to 4 inches with isolated totals up to 6 inches remains possible, especially across areas east of Rockport to Goliad through Tuesday night.

Bischoff Road at Arenosa Creek and Tipton Road East at Casa Blanca Creek have been closed until further notice because of high water.
