CUERO - A 25-year-old man has been arrested in connection with four separate drive-by shooting incidents in Cuero early Sunday morning.
Francisco Lopez Jr., of Cuero, was arrested by Cuero police following reports of shots fired about 3:30 a.m. Sunday, according to a news release from the Cuero Police Department.

A witness at the second shooting reported seeing a small red van leaving the area. The van was located at a house in the 600 block of McArthur St., where Lopez was arrested. While being transported to the DeWitt County Detention Center, Lopez shattered the back window of the police car, according to the news release.
A gun believed to be used in the shooting was recovered, as were two types of prescription narcotics and crack cocaine.
The van was searched and several spent shell casings were found, according to the news release.
Continued investigation revealed that shots had also been fired in the 500 block of Evers Street and the 300 block of Aransas Pass Street.
At three of the locations, children were in the homes, according to the news release.
