Summer is just around the corner. Many organizations and businesses are looking for activities. How about starting with the Parks and Recreation Department? We have many activities coming up for families and organizations. Visit our website at for more information.

Registration for Summer softball begins on May 2. There will be more opportunities for organizations and businesses to play softball and kickball. Some of the new league opportunities are men's church, co-ed, men's 35 and over and men's 45 and over.

A new league will focus on men's beginners. This league is for first-time players and having fun.

The Parks and Recreation Department will cater to your organization. If the accountants want to play the lawyers once a month, we will accommodate you. Your play will be independent of our league. Develop your own rules or use ours. Games cost $30 per game, per team. The possibilities are endless. Contact our office for more details.

If you are new to Victoria and are interested in playing softball or kickball, but don't know where to start, call our office and we will put your name on a list and offer it to all the teams. There may be enough people to start a new team. Give us a call and start having fun.

Youth and adult leagues are always in need of umpires. If you have experience or are interested in umpiring, give us a call.
