Racing vehicles injure two drivers

Victoria Police are investigating the cause of a two-car collision on North Navarro Street occurring around 6:15 p.m Monday.

A woman driving a maroon GMC Jimmy was hit while making a left turn on E. Crestwood Drive by an orange Chevrolet truck reported to be racing another car driving northbound on Navarro Street.

After striking the Jimmy, the driver of the truck collided with the side of the State Farm Insurance building located at 3602 N. Navarro St.

Both drivers were taken to DeTar Hospital with unknown injuries. For more details, see Tuesday's Advocate.
