A traffic stop lead to the arrest Saturday of a Shiner man accused of possessing cocaine and marijuana.
Lavaca County Constable Precinct 2 Charles Grieve stopped a vehicle driven by Braxton Lynn Greathouse, 23, for allegedly running a stop sign in the 100 block of East Moore Street in Moulton at 1:50 a.m., said Moulton Police Department Chief Mark Zimmerman.
Zimmerman and Lavaca County Sheriff's Department K9 Unit Deputy Mike Gibson assisted Grieve in the investigation, which led to allegations that Greathouse possessed about 2 grams each of cocaine and marijuana.
Greathouse was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance and marijuana. He was being held Saturday at the Lavaca County Jail in lieu of a $5,000 bond.
