Two people suffered injuries in a three-vehicle wreck Monday morning.
The driver of one vehicle was flown by helicopter to Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio for extensive injuries and the other was treated for a fractured hip, said Department of Public Safety Trooper Joe Schuler.
Two vehicles brushed swiped one another as they traveled opposite directions on North West Zac Lentz Parkway between Southwest Moody Street and Farm-to-Market Road 447 at about 5:54 a.m. Monday, Schuler said.
The vehicle driving north crossed into the southbound lane and collided head on with another southbound vehicle, Schuler said.
The patients were initially taken by Victoria Fire Department ambulance to DeTar Health care System, said Battalion Chief Shannon Martin.
