State closes some fishing holes

Texas Parks and Wildlife Department has closed several areas to fishing because of the cold weather.
The temporary closure ends at noon Saturday.
The extremely cold weather could also cause fish to die or get sluggish.
Anglers and coastal residents can report any freeze related fish kills or large numbers of sluggish or cold-stunned fish by contacting Texas Parks and Wildlife's Law Enforcement Communications office at 281-842-8100 or 512-389-4848.
Areas closed to fishing include Aransas County:
The Raquetball, Fulton.
Kon Tiki, Fulton.
Bahia Bay, Rockport.
Cove Harbor, Rockport.
La Buena Vida, Rockport.
Little Bay, Rockport.
Palm Harbor, Rockport.
Rockport Harbor, Rockport.
Sea Gun Marina, Lamar.
Army Hole, Port O'Connor.
Shrimp Basin, Palacios.
