A white Dodge crew cab truck towing a livestock trailer became enflamed Sunday night in a pasture near Airline Road and Zac Lentz Parkway. The driver of the truck, whose identity is unknown, drove into the pasture to turn around and the truck caught fire near the engine.

Victoria Fire Department responded to the emergency call about 7:30 p.m. and extinguished the fire moments later.

"They said they pulled in to turn around and noticed the truck on fire. It was enflamed within a couple of minutes," Firefighter and Paramedic Engineer Dana Woodward said.

The driver of the truck and the his passenger were not harmed in the fire.

"No one was hurt, thank God," Woodward said.
