Man sentenced to jail for shaking, injuring son

A Victoria man was sentenced on Friday to 15 months in state jail for injuring his son.
James Stephens Baldwin, 31, was found guilty of felony injury to a child, criminal negligence, according to court records.
His trial started on Feb. 15.
Baldwin's legal troubles stemmed from him shaking his then 7-week-old son in May 2009, leaving the boy with broken ribs and bleeding on the brain.
In addition to jail time, Baldwin has to pay a $2,500 fine, according to the records.
