The primary focus of the Pilot Club is brain related disorders and injuries. The Victoria club's signature project is Project Lifesaver that helps provide rapid response to save lives and reduce potential for serious injury for adults and children who wander due to Alzheimer's, autism, Down syndrome, dementia and other related cognitive conditions. Project Lifesaver provides equipment, training, certification and support to law enforcement, public safety organizations and community groups. A member of the local Pilot Club is a state trainer for Project Lifesaver International, who has trained more than 20 law enforcement agencies in Texas. Pilot organized the Anchor Club at Victoria High School in 1954 and the organization remains active on the East and West high school campuses.
