The Edna Police Department arrested this weekend a man believed to be connected with the "Twilight Rapist" case, according to authorities.

The man was arrested Saturday morning in a victim's home, said Mayor Joe Hermes. Police have been looking for the man dubbed the "Twilight Rapist" since he first assaulted an elderly woman in January 2009.

Since then, the man is thought to have been involved in the rape or attempted sexual assault of at least eight women, ranging from 65 to 91 years old, in small, central Texas towns. The Texas Rangers have been investigating.
