The annual Nordheim FFA Stock Show will be Saturday at the school show barn.

This year's show features 17 lambs, 11 hogs and three steers, similar numbers as in years past, said Joyce Ann Warwas, show coordinator.

Livestock judging begins at 10 a.m. with the lambs, followed by hogs then steers. The premium auction starts at 2 p.m.

An art, food and craft show will be open for public viewing at noon. The grand champion, reserve champion, and blue ribbon items will be sold at the conclusion of the animal auction.

In addition, a welding and small wood competition will be held. Nordheim FFA students and the students in the agricultural science classes will show off birdhouses, crosses, plant hangers, boot scrapers, a fajita cooker, a receiver hitch and a barbecue pit.

All these items will be available for sale at the Nordheim FFA Store located in the Ag shop following the animal judging Saturday morning.

The Nordheim PTA will operate a concession stand during the show and the show committee sponsoring a drawing featuring prizes from local merchants and individual donors.
