Thumbs-up, thumbs-down; it's your choice

Thumbs-up to the city for the beautiful fireworks display. I realize you put a lot of work in it. You need to be recognized.
Thumbs-down to Texas Gov. Rick Perry, Ohio Gov. John Kasich, Virgina Gov. Bob McDonnell and others on the guest list that attended the Koch brothers secret meeting in Vail, Colo. What official business could these governors be doing with billionaires other than what benefits the billionaires? Our ancestors came to this new world for a better life and freedom. Are we going to let the Kochs of the world take that from us? They are trying to divide and conquer us. If we all think for ourselves and unite, then our voices will be heard. Look up the Koch Brothers on the Internet and what they have to say. "Politicians read scripts so we're giving them one," and our governor is one of them. Of course, they don't want corporate taxes raised, and they also don't want a middle class. No matter if you're a Republican or Democrat, we're Americans, and I, for one, cherish my freedom.
