Carolyn Guerra is most certainly a festive fan. Friends say her "Harry Potter" parties come second to none.
"I decorate. I do the whole nine yards," she said.
Guerra was nominated by her friend, Cassy Aguilar, as the area's biggest Harry Potter fan. She said Guerra's parties rivals the creativity of the author J.K. Rowling.
"She (Guerra) goes as far as to crochet scarves for her guests in the colors of each of Hogwarts houses and she hands out replica wands," said Aguilar.
She also said one special guest even gets to wear Dumbledore's hat.
Honored visitors won't go hungry at Guerra's parties because she offers Potter pastries and beverages. She even sets the table similar to Hogwarts place setting.
The series' end is bittersweet for this fan. She said her favorite movie is, "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone." She said she liked the first film because the concept was new and imaginative.
Tonight, she plans to host another magical gathering at her house right before the midnight premiere.
Guerra, a traveling nurse, said she shares the cinematic experience with her 25-year-old daughter, Meagan Guerra.
"It's nice to have someone sitting next to you, who knows it backwards and forwards," said 49-year-old Guerra.
This time around, Guerra will also have the company of her sister, Luda Lagrone, who's lived in London for the past couple of years.
Guerra may be one of the biggest fans in the Crossroads, but she would concede her title to her sibling.
"I may be No. 2, but she (Lagrone) is the biggest fan," she said.
