A 24-year-old Victoria man was arrested Friday night on a warrant charging him with attempted murder and engaging in organized criminal activity, according to a report released Monday.

Pedro "Petey" Lucio was indicted on July 7 on a 2005 attempted murder charge of Joseph Gomez, according to the indictment.

Lucio is part of Hermanos Pistoleros Latinos, a prison and street gang.

Lucio was arrested after Victoria County Sheriff's Office Deputy Richard Martin was trying to locate Lucio, the report read.

Lucio was spotted in a green Dodge Durango in a store parking lot at 7:15 p.m. Friday.

Lucio then drove the vehicle to another business, and when he exited the vehicle, Martin was able to determine that Lucio matched the description, the report read.
