Three people were injured in a two-car wreck on state Highway 185 and Farm-to-Market Road 1432 on Thursday.

Tonya Davenport, 22, of Seadrift, was traveling south in a black Toyota Camry on state Highway 185 when, at about 1:45 p.m., she collided with a gold Chevrolet Impala traveling east on Farm-to-Market Road 1432, according to Department of Public Safety Trooper Jay Schultz.

Schultz said the driver of the Impala failed to yield the right of way at the stop sign, making a right onto the highway in front of the Toyota Camry.

The names of the passengers in the Impala were not available.

The driver of the Impala was transported to the hospital by helicopter. The passenger of the Impala and Davenport were transported to Citizens Medical Center.

Schultz said citations will be determined at a later date, after the medical condition of driver of the Impala has been determined.
