SOFTBALL: East falls in extra innings to Little Cypress-Mauriceville

COLLEGE STATION - Despite 13 strikeouts over eight innings from pitcher Alisha Quinterro, Victoria East fell Thursday at the Bryan/College Station tournament to Little Cypress-Mauriceville, 3-2.

Lexie Elkins and Angela Robisheaux had the Titans only two hits, and AC Cruz and Briana Arguello scored the Titans two runs, including one in the top of the seventh to force extra innings.

Alisha Quinterro had 13 strikeouts over eight innings in the circle.

The Titans fall to 12-2-1 on the season.
