Faith Family hosts 'True Grit' men's rally

The men of Faith Family Church are hosting the first annual True Grit men's rally March 11-12, focussed on building the integrity, or "Grit," of godly men.

The event begins at noon Friday with registration and a chili cook-off, with manly excursions continuing into Saturday afternoon. The two-day event offers such gentlemanly adventures as fly fishing, bull riding, archery, Xbox 360, golf tournaments, basketball tournaments, motorcycle rides, nerf scenario, a PS3 arcade, Harley Davidson, skeet shooting, golf, paintball and disc golf among others; an outdoor concert, and an all-you-can-eat buffet.

Tickets are $18 and men 17 and under are free.

Friday's schedule begins at noon, with the last event starting at 7:30 p.m.

Saturday's events begin at 9 a.m. with the last excursion scheduled for 11 a.m.
