Area youths are invited to join Trinity Episcopal Church's Youth Confirmation Class for a special U2-themed worship and praise service March 27. The service, held at 6 p.m and set to the music of Grammy award-winning rock band U2, aims to empower Crossroads teens into humanitarian efforts both locally and globally.
U2's lead singer Bono has championed similar efforts to end famine and wide-spreading of AIDS in Africa.
There's no cost to attend the event, though an offering will be taken at the service. Contributed donations will benefit the Golden Crescent CASA.
