Ongoing roadwork will continue to affect downtown streets next week, according to a news release from the city of Victoria.
On Monday, River Street will be reduced to one-lane eastbound between DeLeon Street and Navarro Street for the construction of a waterline.
The project will be completed in about two weeks, weather permitting.
On Tuesday, Goodwin Street will be closed to through traffic between Glass and Bridge streets for the construction of a sewer line.
The project is expected to take one day, weather permitting.
Drivers can expect delays in the work zones and should use alternate routes to get around them.
All businesses and parking lots in the construction zones will remain accessible via alternate routes. On-street parking will be prohibited in the work zones.
