A special Catholic presentation of "Jesus the Divine Mercy" will be held at St. Mary's and Our Lady of Sorrows Churches on March 29-31.
The event, given by Dave and Joan Maroney of Mother of Mercy Messengers, is a nationally touring production focusing on the message of the Divine Mercy.
Saint Faustina in the 1930s was said to be the first enlightened interpreter of the truth of the Divine Mercy.
The inspirational event is open to the public and will include a dramatic multimedia presentation with video set to inspiring dialogue, as well as prayer and reflection. There is no cost to attend.
The event leads up to the Feast of the Divine Mercy, held one week after Easter Sunday. A celebration of the Feast is scheduled at St. Mary's on Sunday, May 1 at 2 p.m., with Mass following at 4 p.m.
