Best Festival: Victoria Bach Festival

Every summer, the Bach Festival fills the city of Victoria with classical music, and

Crossroads residents have been eating it up for 35 years.

"It treats classical music in an interesting and fresh way," the festival's executive

director Nina Di Leo said.

The festival plays in several venues around the city and brings in musicians from all over the world.

"A lot of people are really moved by the experiences that they have at the Bach Festival," Di Leo said. "The festival has a long history in the community, so all people who worked on it throughout the years have become attached to it."

That includes new generations, too.

"We do have a lot of younger people that can appreciate it," Di Leo said. "I think there's something for anyone to find of value."
