Details remain sketchy on a shooting on Saturday in Yoakum that sent two men to the hospital.

"We do not have any further information. We are still investigating and following leads," Yoakum Police Chief Arthur Rogers said Monday.

The shooting occurred shortly before midnight Saturday near the 600 block of Irvine Street.

The two men, Josh Longoria, 20, and Jason Rosales, 25, had both been inside a nearby business prior to the shooting.

Yoakum police, the Lavaca County Sheriff's Office and the Department of Public Safety responded to the shooting.

Both men were taken to Yoakum Community Hospital then transferred to Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio.

Longoria was treated and released and Rosales was listed in stable condition on Monday, a hospital spokesperson said.
