Best Pastor: Jim Graff

Through the doors of Faith Family Church, up a flight of stairs and around the corridor sits Jim Graff, the man voted the Crossroads' top spiritual leader.

The Pennsylvania native became a pastor 25 years ago. He has called Victoria home for 21 years.

Graff, 50, said he felt blessed that people appreciated his work, but attributed his win more to Faith Family as a whole.

"Our church is all about helping people," he said with a smile at his wife and co-pastor, Tamara Graff. "We help through loving, learning, supporting and sharing life."

Faith Family offers programs beyond the typical Sunday morning service. Small-group meetings, preschool through high school courses and a variety of other events mean the church is constantly alive with activity.

"This is the kind of church I always wanted to attend," Graff said. "And, somehow, God let us build it."

Other Crossroads pastors do good work also, he said, and are equally deserving of the award.
