Best Principal: Greg Crockett

Principal Greg Crockett can often be spotted at multiple school events a week or promoting Titan pride in the hallways.

"I bring a lot of passion to the job and I think people recognize that," he said.

Crockett, former principal of Memorial High School, earns the best principal recognition he believes because of a love for seeing students succeed.

"When you set the right culture for the school, it just seems like everything else falls in place," he said.

Crockett was also recognized as Secondary Principal of the Year for Region III by the Texas Association of Secondary Schools, and embraces every part of the new school.

"I wouldn't want to be at any other school," he said. "I love being at Victoria East High School, and it's awesome being a Titan."
