The boots will be scooting in Yoakum April 8 when Clay Crockett & the Shotgun Riders headline a fundraiser for area food banks.
The event, hosted by Accolade Hospice and Homecare, will be at Yoakum Gin & Feed, 117 West St.
The Ross Brunner Band will open the show.
Admission is one non-perishable food item.
"Our company firmly believes in giving back to the community, and this is one way we can do that," said Konstanze Kelley of Accolade. "This is a family-friendly event and will include activities for the children, too."
Doors open at 6 p.m. with the music starting at 8 p.m.
The night will include a silent auction and door prizes. Tickets for the door prizes will be based on the number of food items donated. One item gets one ticket. Two items gets two tickets, and so forth, said Kelley.
Donations will be made to the Food Bank of the Golden Crescent in Victoria and food banks in Yoakum, Cuero, Gonzales, Hallettsville and Flatonia.
