Want to have a part in developing the city's current and future parks system?

Take a survey.

"They are developing a park master plan and they want public input to see what kind of parks and recreation interests are the highest priority for the public," said O.C. Garza, director of communications for the city.

The Parks and Recreation Department Leisure Needs Survey may be taken online by visiting the parks and recreation department website.

Doug Cochran, director of parks and recreation, is set to give a report on the survey at the city council meeting at 5 p.m. Tuesday at 107 W. Juan Linn St.

Garza said the parks and recreation department is hoping to get a lot of people to take the survey, which only takes a few minutes to complete.
