A lunch and live auction will be at Central Church of Christ in Victoria at 10 a.m. Sunday to assist five missionaries, raising money for a medical mission trip to Zambia.

Darren Tom, Jeff Neaves, Carlos Rabino, Vickie Rabino and Desiree Rabino want to make the trip to benefit Zambia once again.

The previous year's trip to the African nation served more than 16,000 villagers with medical, dental and visual ailments.

Also, the church notes that 89 villagers were baptized.

Ray Ferguson, of Hillcrest Church of Christ in Abilene, is scheduled to speak at 10 a.m. at the church.

Tickets to the event are $3 and includes a spaghetti and salad lunch at 11:15 a.m. The live auction begins at 12:30 p.m. and offers many authentic African items for purchase, such as African drums, hand-carved bowls and an Africa Tonga picnic basket. Other items to be auctioned include a Swedish massage from Woodhouse Day Spa, a Halepaskas gift basket, car window tinting and a round of golf for four at Colony Creek Country Club.

The event will be held in the Church of Christ annex.
