Jeremy Haliburton wants it to be a grand Christmas for the children of the Crossroads.

Haliburton's 7th annual Navidad Granda para los Chicos and Chicas concert is slated for Saturday at the PumpHouse Restaurant at 1201 W. Stayton St.

Admission is free with a new, unwrapped toy for the Toys for Tots campaign.

Haliburton explained the reason behind the annual toy drive.

"A lot of us have so much," he said. "We just thought it would be great to give back to the kids in the community. And the community has been great in coming out and supporting the effort. We appreciate it."

The entertainment lineup includes bluegrass tunes from Los Grassy Brothers, as well as performances by Fred Andrews, of Honeybrowne; Adan Davila, as well as Haliburton.

A one-time DJ on Texas Radio, Haliburton released his first CD, "Whisky and Lies," about this time last year.
