Methodist Pumpkin Patch opens

The Pumpkin Patch of First United Methodist Church is now open and will sell pumpkins from 9 a.m. to dark, Monday through Saturday and from noon until dark Sundays through Oct. 31.
An assortment of shapes and sizes are available at the patch, 407 N. Bridge St. Proceeds benefit the church's community assistance ministry, preschool and youth programs, Vacation Bible School and other church activities.
The Boo-tique, offering decorated pumpkins, bows and other pumpkins products will also be open.
On Oct. 15, the church will hold its annual arts and crafts show and children's carnival. Admission is free. Children's activities will be held in the pumpkin patch during the craft show and pumpkin bread will be available for purchase.
