A woman was arrested about 10:20 p.m. Saturday on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and injuring another driver.

Mary Potcinske Fultz, 48, was traveling north on Farm to Market 446 in a white 1997 Chevrolet Cavalier when she rear-ended a red 1990 GMC Sierra driven by 32-year-old Mark Edward Lemke at the intersection of Texas Loop 463 and U.S. 77 South, a Department of Public Safety trooper said.

Lemke was traveling with passengers Xavier Lemke, 15, and Shelly Lemke, 35.

Trooper Louie Verdeja said Shelly Lemke was transported to Citizens Medical Center. Lemke was later treated and released.

Verdeja said Fultz was taken to DeTar Hospital for a blood sample and arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated. She also was charged with failure to control speed.

Fultz was released to Victoria County Jail, Verdeja said.
