Darren Blohm and Carri Lee earned high-scoring honors for their respective genders this week.

Blohm, who was coming off a 697 high set last week in Red River action, upped the ante with a tremendous three-game total of 749 in the same league.

Blohm was in the running to break the bank at Century Lanes until a pesky 4 pin in the 10th frame of his last game stopped his bid. He was on target with great games of 235, 269, and 245 for his big score.

Lee zeroed in on the lanes a few times this year and last week was no exception as she posted her high score for the year while competing in the Sugar & Spice League.

She saved the best for last with games of 196, 234, and 257 contributing towards an excellent 687 series.

It was a great week for high scores with several bowlers suppressing the 700 mark.

Ricahrd Brotze blasted the pins for the second high score with great games of 258 and 256 helping towards a 725 set.

Also breaking the 700 mark were Mike Osterson 258-717/266-692, Travis Balfanz 276-711, Justin Twiddle 268-709, Randy Morris 278-708, Steve Dickinson 269-704, and Joey Matson 268-701.

Other scores of note for the men were T.J. Mooney (258-698), Kevin Stacy (247-698), Steve Zeplin (690), Jerry Cano (279-687), Mike Stacy (278-688/248-670), Tony Payne (258-680), Kenny Schupbach (678), Dale Cockrill (248-675), Bob Korczynski (673), David Chavez (671), Dandy Richards (255-670), Frank Suniga (661), David Matthews (655), Mark Svatek (248-652), Abraham Flores (254-652/254), Royal Marek (257), Dennis Lovel (257), and Klint Weinheimer (252).

Lynda Mikulec posted the second women's high score with a great 256 game compliment a 656 series.

Other great scores for the women were JoAnn Brown (245-624), Lori Heil (228-622), Marci Rojas (224-617), Sharon Guinn (246-603) and Joanna Sanders (600).
