Victoria College offers QuickBooks 2011 for Contractors

Victoria College's Workforce and Continuing Education Department, in partnership with Ed2go, is launching its newest offering "QuickBooks 2011 for Contractors."

Participants in this six-week course will learn to use the "Premier Contractor Edition" of QuickBooks 2011 to create estimates, record time-tracking, generate reports and manage billing for their construction projects. Also included are tips on how to deal with tricky situations such as change orders and retainage requirements, along with how to properly set up accounts, items, customers and jobs for greater efficiency.

This course is part of the college's growing catalog of more than 300 instructor-facilitated online courses.

Through well-crafted lessons, expert online instruction and interaction with fellow students, participants in these courses gain valuable knowledge at their convenience. Online instruction offers working students the flexibility to study on their own time and at their own pace combined, coupled with enough structure and support to complete the course.

New sessions of this course begin every month, each lasting six weeks. Ed2go courses are entirely web-based with comprehensive lessons, quizzes, and assignments. A professional instructor facilitates every course; pacing learners, answering questions, giving feedback and facilitating discussions.
