Wreck on Navarro sends 2 to hospital

Two women were transported to Citizens Medical Center after a wreck Sunday afternoon.
The wreck, involving a 2006 Nissan and a 2001 Mazda, occurred about 1:15 p.m. Sunday when a car traveling from the H-E-B Plus parking lot on Navarro Street moved across the intersection. The driver of the other vehicle ran a red light, t-boning the car.
The Victoria Fire Department used the Jaws of Life, Victoria Police Sgt. Barron said. Two females were transported to the hospital complaining of back pain. Their names were not available Sunday.
