A 22-year-old man was airlifted to Spohn Hospital on Saturday after a diving incident. Lt. Steven Vanderlaske, of the Corpus Christi Coast Guard, said the unidentified man had medical issues after making his second 135-foot diving attempt. He was rescued 30 miles from shore. The call was made at 5:15 p.m. Vanderlaske said medical officials will determine whether alcohol was a factor.
