Victoria resident Kristopher Durst, 19, was arrested Sunday on suspicion of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Victoria Police Lt. Mike Tatum said officers responded to a shooting incident in the 1700 block of Meadowlane Street at 3 p.m. Sunday after shots were fired from a handgun out of black four-door car toward another vehicle with six people inside, including one infant child.
At least three other people were in the black vehicle with Durst, Tatum said.
Durst was arrested on six counts of aggravated assault. No other arrests were made, Tatum said.
It is unknown if other arrests will be made.
