Thumbs-up to the three perfect strangers who rushed into traffic on Guy Grant Road when the back of my SUV popped open on acceleration, spewing my Easter groceries all over the road. They were awesome Samaritans.
Thumbs-up to Chick-fil-A for being one of the only businesses in Victoria to offer military discounts.
Thumbs up to Sulema Saenz at the Department of Public Safety's Drivers' License Office. She has a lovely smile and a matching disposition and made my driver's license renewal visit a great experience.
Thumbs-down to the driver of a white pickup truck, towing a boat, parked in a manner that blocked two handicap spaces. This was early Monday morning at H-E-B Plus, just across from the main entry. I watched an able bodied man hurriedly enter the truck.
