Bicycle Road-E-O held at Seadrift Elementary

The Texas Department of Public Safety conducted a bicycle safety talk at Seadrift Elementary in Point Comfort on March 6. On March 30, 82 students participated in a riding course to demonstrate their riding skills and took a written test.

Top winners kindergarten to second grade:

Azriel Carrera, first place, with a score of 97 points

Terrick Martinez, second place, with a score of 92 points

Top Winners third to fifth grade:

Scott Esch, first place, with a score of 109 points

Chris Salinas and Ethan Mikolas tied for second place, with a score of 100 points

Class Winners:

Kindergarten - Tyler Salinas, first boy; Taegan Sanders, first girl

First Grade - Ayden Maddux, first boy; McKenzie Bierschwale, first girl

Second Grade - Azriel Carrera, first boy; Taysia Navarro, first girl

Third Grade - Scott Esch, first boy; Kinley Lowery, first girl

Fourth Grade - Ethan Mikolas, first boy; Madi Bierschwale, first girl

Fifth Grade - Enrique Torres, first boy; Ahniwake James, first girl.
