A search ended before 2 p.m. Sunday for a 93-year-old Goliad woman reported missing early Friday morning.
Mary Jane Martin, Goliad Emergency Management Department public information officer, said Mary Williams, had been missing about 44 hours when she found by a helicopter search pilot.
Williams signaled the pilot from a gully located about three miles from her home.
Martin said Williams lives alone at her home in Goliad and she did not know how she wandered so far away on her own.
Williams was treated for dehydration. No other injuries were reported.
