Devereux Growing Center will be full of Texas-made art this weekend.

The 25 artists were personally invited by the organizers to participate. Art includes a compilation of pottery, photography and paintings.

"It's all one-of-a-kind artwork," said Sandra Neely, development officer.

Art enthusiasts have a chance to get a sneak peek at Spring Fling Art in the Garden Party for a $25 fee Friday evening.

The evening will feature heavy hors d'oeuvres, artisan market and greenhouse shopping, as well as live music and auctions.

Proceeds from spring fling benefit Friends of Devereux, an organization that has year round projects that include welcome bags, Christmas stockings and presents, school clothing, summer camp, birthday celebrations and the children's library.

The event will be open to the public on Saturday and Sunday. The weekend's festivities will be in honor of Devereux's 100th anniversary.
