Man arrested on suspicion of human trafficking

A 40-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of two counts of trafficking of a person on Saturday.
Samuel Rada, of Donna, was pulled over by a Victoria County Sheriff's Office deputy while northbound on U.S. Highway 59.
A Department of Public Safety trooper assisted in the arrest.
Rada was stopped on suspicion of speeding and not staying in his lane, according to the police report.
The deputy began interviewing Rada's passenger, Judad Vargas. Vargas didn't speak English and had a Mexican driver's license. As the deputy was interviewing Vargas, another passenger, Pedro Dimas-Saucedo, was found laying on the floorboard of the vehicle.
According to the arrest report, both Vargas and Dimas-Saucedo, were illegal immigrants who had been deported numerous times.
Rada was arrested and his passengers were detained.
