Play was good, but cussing was not necessary

Editor, the Advocate:

The play "Annie" had a lot of amazing talented young actors that have come from the local community. My husband, son and I did enjoy that part of the play. There were a lot of children in the audience enjoying the play as well, as middle age, and older people. The play had a lot of good points. My main concern about the play was why did it need to have cuss words in it to be such a success? It still could have been an even better play without certain words being used. I personally am tired of cussing being used in a public presentations, and I have to accept it as okay, which I do not. Why can't we have a good family play that a person is proud to bring their children to, and not be ashamed because of certain words that are being used?
